MAY 2015 – JUNE 2015 · Wingecarribee
The Wingercarribee Council in the Southern Highlands of NSW includes some of the most significant historical sites and engineering structures in the State.
Council engineers were concerned at the deterioration of a heritage rock bridge and drain with major erosion and mass scouring in the area around the bridge. GSS was contracted to rehabilitate the immediate area, stabilize banks eroded surfaces and in so doing, ensure the historical would be enjoyed by generations into the future. The successful completion of the project required the design and installation of a gravity Gabion wall and related earthworks and landscaping.
