Project Details

IN NOVEMBER 2018, GROUND STABILISATION SYSTEMS ASSISTED AT THE BLUFF, QUEENSLAND, WHICH SUFFERS FROM LOOSE ROCKS AND SOFT SOIL.

The Bluff is located in Yeppoon, and the cliff face consists of numerous loose rocks and mudstones. The council had decided to reinforce the worst areas using rock bolts and shotcrete.

GSS also carried out scaling and rock removal.

As there had been rock falls recently, a section of the road had already been closed, which aided GSS in its timely completion of the work ahead of schedule.
