Omega City Portal, Sydney Trains

GROUND STABILISATION SYSTEMS WAS CONTACTED TO INSTALL GROUND ANCHORS AND ROCKFALL NETTING FOR SYDNEY TRAINS IN SEPTEMBER 2019.

GSS were engaged to stabilise the Omega City Portal cutting which is 135m long and a part of the South Coast Line.

Over the rail shutdown period, GSS installed 120 ground anchors at a length of 5m. As a part of these works, rockfall netting was also installed as a rockfall protection measure. The project was completed to the satisfaction of the client.
